design is tacked onto 25 count black Lugana ground fabric.

The
face of the ram is worked in a blackwork pattern using 5 different
shades of gold Kreinik #4 Metallic Braids to create shading.

The
blackwork pattern is continued down the neck.

Pearl
purl outlines are added to the face and ear to create definition.

The
horn is padded with waxed crochet cotton.

Over
the crochet cotton padding different textures of gold purl chips
(beads) are sewn over top.

The
horn is completed, additional stitches added to the neck and a
spangle is added to the eye.
