CORDED SILK DRESS This wedding dress is made with lovely fine cream silk fabric. A swirly design is worked with twisted gold and cream cord hand sewn down onto the fabric. Small flower motifs were cut out and applied in certain areas of the design and gold beads finished off the top of the design. EMBROIDERED AREA The bodice of the dress has one main design. The skirt of the dress has one main design at the front of the skirt with smaller swirl designs worked around to the back of the skirt. The train of the dress has five complete designs with a medium sized design between the main designs and small swirl designs joining the medium designs to the main design. EMBROIDERY TIME 200 Hours THREADS USED Gold and cream twisted cord, two sizes of gold cord, three different types of gold beads and gold flower motifs. DRESS FABRIC Fine cream silk fabric |
