PAINTED CANVAS COMMISSIONS Canvas painted kits are painted with permanent paints onto 14 or 18 count mono canvas. There are advantages to both the 14 and 18 count canvas. The 14 count canvas has 14 threads to the inch, it is easy to count and works in quickly. The 18 count canvas has 18 threads to the inch, enabling you to get more shading and detail. If you have a picture that you would like me to paint onto canvas you can email or mail me the picture and I will hand paint it onto the desired sized canvas using permanent paints. A picture approximately 12 inch by 12 inch or 10 inch by 14 inch will cost $250 Canadian dollars. I paint a colour code down the side of the canvas for the amount of colours used in the painting, for easier choosing of the threads used to embroidery the design. If you would like me to match crewel wools to the canvas and provide the crewel wools the additional cost will be $100 Canadian dollars for a total of $350 Canadian dollars. LABRADOR The Labrador design is hand painted by myself onto 18 count mono canvas from a 4 inch by 6 inch photograph provided by the owner. The painted canvas can be embroidered in two strands of crewel wool, or other embroidery yarn in shaded continental stitch or a variety of different canvas work stitches.  A commission to paint a design onto a piece of canvas approximately 12 inch square or 14 inch by 10 inch costs $80.00 Canadian dollars. When I paint the design I also paint a colour key down the side of the canvas so it is easy to pick out the colours in the picture and choose the wools. I can match up wools with the painted canvas. If you would like this service I can let you know how much the wools will costs when I know what size painted canvas that you would like.
