Kit of the Month The kit of the month special for February is the Blackwork Peacock Kit reduced by $7.00 Canadian Dollars. The Blackwork Peacock is worked on 32 count even weave Monika fabric or Belfast linen fabric working straight or diagonal stitches over one, two or four threads of the fabric following step by step diagrams of the pattern. A combination of embroidery cotton, perle cotton and metallic threads are used to work the embroidery. There are no worries about working the embroidery two-sided. Instead the design will get a dimensional effect by changing a pattern by adding or reducing stitches or changing the thickness of the thread and introducing coloured metallic threads to bring vibrancy to the Peacock. The instructions for my kits are detailed with lots of instructions and diagrams and are written with the beginner in mind....I am offering free correspondence in case there are any questions you need answering as you are working the embroidery and free ongoing critique where you can email me pictures of the embroidery as you are working it and I will email you constructive comments. Whats New? Free Blackwork Mini Mystery Project: I am running a free blackwork mini mystery project over three months. The first stage is posted in February, the second stage in March and the final stage in April. The project is posted as three PDF files on my website which can be downloaded and printed off. The project is suitable for all levels of stitchers. Happy Hare Needle Minder: Useful tool to hold your extra needles out of the way while stitching your embroidery or cross-stitch.	Whats New? What's Happening this Month? During February I will be teaching embroidery classes in Arizona and Texas from Monday 13th of February until Wednesday 22nd of February. During this time I will not be able to reply to emails, process orders or answer telephone calls. I will respond to any received during this time on Thursday 23rd of February.
